If you are running an auction for a good cause, please please please put up some sort of donation box. Make it BIG.
That way those of us who only have a wee bit of time to drop by the auction can donate and then run. It makes it nice for the giver too, we don't have to explain to the host why we are dropping money on them, etc.
Just a thought :)
